GBWhatsapp offers an excellent privacy feature of hiding one-on-one chats & Group chats. Do you have a snoopy friend/ family who always try to check your WhatsApp without your permission? If its a yes, you will love the Hide Group Chat feature.

In this article, we will explain how to apply Hide Group Chat feature. Please follow the below steps:
Step 1: Open GBWhatsapp & go to Groups. Select the group chat you want to hide.
Step 2: A cross eye icon will appear on top right hand side of the screen. Click on it.
Step 3: For the first time, you will be prompted to choose the option ‘Fingerprint’, ‘PIN’ or ‘Pattern’
Step 3.1: If selected ‘Fingerprint’, you will be prompted to Set Up Fingerprint in Phone setting. After setting Fingerprint you will be asked to Set a Security question & Security Answer as a backup.
Step 3.2: If selected ‘PIN’, you will be prompted to set 4 digit PIN code. After setting PIN you will be asked to Set a Security question & Security Answer as a backup.
Step 3.3: If selected ‘Pattern’, you will be prompted to set a pattern followed by set a Security question & Security Answer as a backup.
Step 5: Next time, whenever you want to Hide Group Chat, select the chat & click on Cross eye icon. You will have to enter the PIN/ Pattern/ Fingerprint to Hide the Group Chats.
How to UNHIDE the Group Chats?
Step 1: Open the GBWhatsapp >> On left hand side you will find ‘WHATSAPP’. Click on WhatsApp.
Step 2: You will be prompted to your set security option (PIN/ Pattern/ Fingerprint). Enter the password. You will see the hidden group chats.
Step 3: Select the Group Chat you want to unhide. Click the eye icon. Your chat will now appear on Group tab.
